Why Hiring A Realtor Was The Best Decision Ever

My wife and I recently sold our house, and are in the process of buying a new one. And, if you’ve ever bought and/or sold a house before, I’m sure you can relate to the craziness of the experience.

You see, I wasn’t planning on buying a house. Really. My wife and I had casually thrown around the idea, but it wasn’t until a few weeks ago that we decided to look at houses on a whim (I can feel some of you laughing out loud while reading this…).

And, the next thing you know… we found our dream house, signed some papers, and somehow found ourselves putting our current house on the market.

I originally thought I would list my house for sale myself. I didn’t see the need or value of having a realtor when I could just do it all. I mean, it couldn’t be that hard…right?

Wrong.

I soon found myself spending way too much time researching laws, comps of houses in our area, terminology, etc., all because I somehow thought I could become a realtor overnight.
What I didn’t realize is there are realtors for a reason. And, I’m not one of them.

Look, as entrepreneurs, we oftentimes try to become the “realtors” of every aspect of our business – we want to do absolutely everything. But most of the time, trying to do everything actually hurts our business in the end.

Think about it. You try to be a copywriter. You try to be a designer. You try to be an Infusionsoft implementer. ALL while trying to run and grow your business.
Sounds kind of crazy, right?

You don’t have to wear every hat. In fact, you shouldn’t. We’ve worked with literally hundreds and hundreds of entrepreneurs who have been in your same situation, and we’ve helped them figure out how they can actually spend time working on their business instead of in it.

I’ve included a link below where you can schedule a FREE strategy session with one of our coaches, where they’ll review your business with you to show you how you can alleviate the stress of wearing multiple hats and FINALLY start focusing on growing your business.

On the call, you will:

  1. Get Clear on Your Goals – Let’s be honest, a lot of the stuff that steals your time isn’t actually serving the end result you want.
  2. Create a Playbook – Every business needs a Playbook that lines out the plan going forward. Do you have one?
  3. Decide – Where do you need to make changes now in order to start leading your business and moving it forward?

Claim your strategy session!

And, in case you’re wondering, I ended up hiring a realtor. My house sold for over asking price in 24 hours. And it was a cash offer 🙂

Hope to chat soon.

Thanks,

Taylor
