Great video. My question is timing. I find myself creating saved reports for each month of the year, or redoing the old report for the new month. Is there a better way?

Also, I’d love to have something like a last 30 days sales, with another line below if of the last 30 days sales from days 30-60 ago. Is there a way to do that?

    Thanks!
    Don

      Hey Don!

Yeah, so some reports allow you to auto update them. Most of the reports on my dashboard I have to update monthly. It’s kind of a pain, but it only takes a couple seconds to update them each month.

I’ll have to check into the sales report. I’m not sure if they give you the filters to make that possible so it might just be a This Month and Last Month type deal. If I find a way to do what you’re talking about without having to update it daily, I’ll let you know.

We are working on a tool that will make dashboards easier so keep an eye out for that one… ๐Ÿ˜‰

Great video. I’ll admit I don’t use the dashboard at all! What do you recommend as ‘must haves’ on there?

      To start:
      1) Any and all work that has to be done by a human (so it doesn’t slip through the cracks
      2) Status of where people are in your business right now.

      As you get more advanced:
      1) Historical data around what has happened over time
      2) Comparison numbers and next level details around your prospects and customers.

Cannot stress enough the importance of knowing what work your team or you needs to be doing and where people are. Those two are the foundation of all reporting. Actually, status is the foundation of all reporting. The To-Do side is just some stuff doesn’t slip through the cracks… ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hi Brad — you guys absolutely rock. Thanks for the things that you share! This is incredibly helpful. I always knew there were ways to get more from our dashboard, and in some ways I have… but what you guys have done is that extra level of brilliance. Thank you!
