The other day I went somewhere I hadn’t been in many years… my parent’s basement.

It’s not that I haven’t visited my family in years, I’m not a monster, I just don’t ever go in the basement when I’m there.

As I walked down the stairs it felt like I was going back in time. I remembered hanging out with friends, playing pool, watching football, trying to get buff in the makeshift workout room 🙂 And, I remembered the mess.

Teenagers are not the cleanest humans on planet earth, and while I definitely cleaned up when a cute girl was coming over, most of the time that basement was not date-ready.
